I write picture books that comfort children and make them smile. Before I became an author, I spent 40 years as a licensed California therapist working with children and families — and I now turn that real-life wisdom into gentle stories about friendship, worries, differences, and belonging.
My books encourage kindness, emotional growth, courage, and connection. They're designed to help children better understand their feelings, build friendships, and recognize that the qualities that make them different can also become strengths. I invisibly weave insight and guidance into stories that help children cope with the universal challenges of childhood — always with warmth, hope, and a little humor.
The stories are especially well suited for families, classrooms, counselors, and libraries — anywhere a good book can open the door to thoughtful conversation. Through warm and meaningful characters, I hope to help children feel seen, understood, and valued.
My wish is that each book becomes a cozy favorite on your shelf: something children want to hear again and again, and something grown-ups are glad to read.
I'm available for local readings, classroom visits, library events, and small community gatherings in the Los Angeles area. My readings are warm, thoughtful, and designed to help children reflect on friendship, feelings, courage, and the strengths that make each of us unique.
